Race Committee
Join our Race Committee Team!
As always, we are looking for additional committee members, both Primary Race Officers (PRO), boat crew and boat operators, who can commit to a regular schedule. Experience is not necessary – we will train you.
The club’s recently added Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIB) offer an excellent opportunity to hone your small boat skills serving as mark and safety boats. Race Committee offers a unique opportunity for members with or without racing experience to spend time on the water, observe racing close up, and be part of the club’s central activity – without the expense and hassle of owning a boat.
For racers, RC offers the opportunity to hone your racing skills by learning how courses are set and managed and observing racing from a different perspective. Participation in race management opens doors at other clubs and opportunities to volunteer at large regattas.
